About Impostrix Podcast
Impostrix Podcast affirms the lived experiences of (smart, talented AF, and often over-qualified) professionals of color who navigate imposter syndrome, white dominant culture, and racial toxicity in their careers. Through personal anecdotes, historical facts, and scientific data, Civil Rights Attorney and Racial Equity Consultant Whitney Knox Lee and special guests share accessible language, and actionable tools, tips, and “fake it till you make it” tricks to encourage listeners to protect their energy, embrace their power, and honor their worth.
Here, we will talk self-advocacy. You will learn ways to overcome and leverage imposter syndrome, you will be better able to identify when and why your work culture is working against you, and will hear personal examples of when guests have succeeded (and failed) at implementing countermeasures, just like you.

The Affirmations We Live By
Hey! I'm Whitney.
I am a Black American mother to two Black sons, a wife, a civil rights attorney, an anti-racism and DEI educator, and now a podcast host! A native Seattleite, I moved to the South in 2013 in a reverse migration and now soak up the heat and Black culture in Hotlanta. Join me and my guests as we talk about everything it means to be a professional of color navigating self-doubt and racial toxicity in our professions.
